For those not "in the know", Fred Basset is a popular comic strip
based on the wild antics of a lovable basset hound.
The humor in this strip is very subtle, if you do not know how to "decode"
the author's wry, most likely British, humor.
The "encoded" strip invariably appears to be cute but unfunny, like the "Family Circus" or a baby who grows up to be Hitler:

To "decode" the strip and perhaps discover some humor within (no promises, but can it hurt to try?): Separate panels from several different comic strips, and rearrange randomly to generate new and hopefully clever comic strips. It's like jazz, except with the funny papers.
